The top of Field’s Hill in Conway is a treat—it’s mowed, in part for snowmobilers, and it’s a wonderful spot of forest and meadow and overlooks onto the hills beyond town. I painted this en plein air and made a quick, energetic painting, mostly because of the mosquitoes that day!
