I love to look for all the colors in tree trunks. This afternoon was challenging—light and shadows move quickly and dramatically in March—but I did my best to capture the essence of this clump of bare trees by the South River. March can be a difficult month, and I take solace in looking for the color in all the dull earth tones…the colors are there, especially when the sun comes out. Thank you, colors! Thank you, sun!
